Monthly Meetings & Events

Connect with other Alliance Members

Most months, August through May, our VP of Programs, will host an event or meeting for all Alliance members. These range from fun Lunch and Learns like our wonderful lunch at Magdelena's with a floral arrangement demonstration, our yearly brunch and fashion show at Neiman Marcus to date nights with our favorite doctors at Top Golf or our yearly fundraising Gala - The Medicine Ball. Each May we come together to recognize outstanding volunteers, install our new President and board and to honor our 50 year members at the Mary Helen Ware Star Awards Luncheon. Keep an eye out for Evites and the E-Newsletter so you can plan to come. A complete list can be found in your Member Handbook and Directory. Reservations are made through Evite. Payments accepted by check mailed to the Alliance offices or by Venmo.

In addition to these events, we have a variety of special interest groups for members to participate in together. We are always happy to create a new group with enough interest and a leader. Scroll down to see the meetings and special interest groups we have planned this year.

Also join us on our new Slack channel to interact with Alliance members and get timely updates on upcoming events and spur of the moment Friends' Night Out to the movies or dinner, and other fun social outings around town.

Follow the Alliance on Facebook and Instagram @tcmsalliance for the latest event information and photos and videos every time we are together.

Omni Hotel Fort Worth

The Annual TMA Foundation Gala held during the ALLMED conference is in Fort Worth this year. TCMSA's own Debbie and Dr. Sealy Massingill are co-chairs. See friends and colleagues at Texas Medical Association Foundation’s annual gala on Friday, May 19, 2023 during TMA’s TexMed at the Omni Fort Worth! The theme for TMAF’s 30th gala is Art of Medicine, which recognizes Fort Worth for its vibrant art scene and honors how physicians treat each patient individually and with care. The décor will be bright and artistic. Dress is “artistic” cocktail attire. Your ticket purchase or table sponsorship supports TMAF-funded initiatives that amplify TMA’s vision: to improve the health of ALL Texans. TMAF funds a wide range of programs to support this vision including those that help reduce health care disparities through scholarships to minorities underrepresented in the physician population compared to the general population of Texas and community grants that serve Texans most impacted by these factors.

Tickets and tables available now https://www.texmed.org/GALA/

Online auction begins May May 12
