Physician Family Wellness Learning Series
Session 1 How Physician Burnout Causes Family Burnout
Sarah Grimmer, PhD
September 10, 2024
We will have the first of the Physician Family Wellness Series on September 10th. Sarah Grimmer, PhD will lead us through her research on how the stress physician's face is shared with their spouses. The data is eye opening, and this series gives such hope for us all to reduce stress and increase wellness for ourselves and our families.
This month we will learn what about the lifestyle contributes to excessive stress/burnout in physicians and their spouses. What exactly is happening in our bodies when we experience stress and secondary trauma. What are the BASICS of what our bodies and minds need for health and wellness. We will conclude with a time to discuss what we've learned and make a plan for one step in the right direction.
I hope if you're available on Tuesday at Noon, you will join us. The workshop is 12pm-1pm. Come at 11:30am if you order lunch. Lunch orders due by September 5th. Scan the QR code or go to this Link to Register.
