We are the Family of Medicine

Who We Are

We are a social, philanthropic, education and advocacy membership organization that includes female and male spouses and partners of physicians and medical students as well as physicians and medical students. We are friends, colleagues and volunteers who share the unique lifestyle of being in medical families. We are the family of medicine.

Mission

To enhance the lives and health of Texans through cooperative programming with the Tarrant County Medical Society

To provide opportunities for member growth and development

To assist in developing friendly relations and mutual understanding among physicians, their families and the general public

    Join us for the Kitchen Kick Off on Saturday, June 20 at Cornerstone Assistance Network!

    We’re especially excited to highlight the growing partnership between Cornerstone Assistance Network and Cater to Love. The event will be hosted by Alliance member Anthony DeFelice, who also serves on the Board of Directors for Cater to Love and has been instrumental launching their new commercial kitchen inside Cornerstone Assistance Network.  

    Here’s what to expect:

    11:30 AM — Doors Open!

    Come hungry, bring the family, and enjoy free food fresh from the new kitchen, plus supervised kids activities.

    ⚽ 12:00 PM — World Cup Watch Party

    Catch Sweden vs. Netherlands live on the big screen — cheer loud and connect with your Catering to Love community.

    ✂️ 1:00 PM — Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    Join us for the official unveiling of our new commercial kitchen — a space built to transform lives through nourishment, opportunity, and community impact.

    Come cool off with us at our Summer Splash Pool Playdate!  This is a great opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new families to the area, and strengthen the friendships that make our community special.

    Everyone is welcome -- especially those new to the community looking to connect.

    Bring your Littles!  Pool includes a baby area and playground.  

    Pizza, Snacks & Lifeguard provided.  Bring your own towels.

    It's always a fun night when we are together! Come out and enjoy a chill evening at Roger's Roundhouse with your spouse and Alliance friends. Light appetizers provided. Come and go or stay for dinner. Children welcome.

    Roger's Roundhouse is a great place to catch up with your Family of Medicine. There is an air conditioned indoor area, covered patio with fans and an open yard where the kids can play together. We will have games for the children or the young at heart.

    July is the start of the medical new year.  Across Tarrant County there are many new physician families who are beginning their first position after training or starting a new residency and medical schools.  Invite them to join us for an opportunity to welcome them to our Family of Medicine.
